This presentation will focus on small, lightweight, and wearable physiological sensors that can be employed to assess patient health and interventional outcomes

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will understand the need for physiological sensors in different healthcare settings
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to describe optochemical sensor technologies, in particular those that use fluorophors and phosphors.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to understand how sensor data can be used to follow treatment and intervention outcomes.
