Dr. Ishwor Poudel is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Washington. Before joining UW, Dr. Poudel worked as an ORISE postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research-FDA at St.Louis, MO, after graduating with a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Auburn University, AL. Dr. Poudel has a blend of scientific expertise and experience in formulation development, 3D-printing, in vitro testing biowaivers, IVIVIC, and preclinical investigation of cancer delivery platforms. His current postdoctoral research involves designing and developing effective cell-based nanoengineered therapies with fewer side effects, targeting cancers with poor survival rates.
Dr. Poudel has been an active AAPS member since 2019 and has regularly participated in the AAPS annual meeting. He is currently a membership engagement manager for the AAPS lipid-based drug delivery systems community (2023 onwards). He also led the AAPS-Auburn University Chapter for two years during his graduate school as Chair-Elect and Chair during 2021-22.
