Pallavi Pawar is a Principal Scientist II in the Formulation and Process Development group at Gilead Sciences, Inc. with 9+years of industry experience. In her current role, Pallavi leads cross- functional matrix team to design, develop and progress oral solid and parenteral drug products including novel long-acting injectables (LAI) from lead optimization, through pre-clinical to clinical development towards commercialization. Before Gilead Sciences, Pallavi worked at GSK, Pennsylvania and supported both OSD and Parenteral Drug Products. She is passionate about developing novel and material-sparing tools, leverage data analytics, deploy in vitro and in silico models to accelerate drug product development. Pallavi received her PhD in Chemical Engineering for Rutgers University where she focused on Continuous Manufacturing of OSDs.
