Dr. Rocha is a distinguished scientific leader with over 19 years of experience spanning academic research and contract research organizations (CROs), with expertise in bioanalysis, protein biochemistry, and scientific team development. He is widely recognized for his leadership in the development and validation of complex bioanalytical assays, including protein biomarkers, hybrid ligand-binding LC-MS/MS, cell-based, enzymatic, and molecular assays. Additionally, he has made significant contributions to the characterization and lifecycle management of critical reagents, advancing scientific rigor and consistency across regulated environments.
Dr. Rocha’s work has enabled the generation of high-quality data critical to informed decision-making in drug development. He holds a Ph.D. in Protein Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Munich and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. His research has been presented at leading international conferences, covering a wide range of topics including mechanistic enzymology, molecular biology, biomarker science, cell biology, and translational drug discovery.
In addition to his scientific achievements, Dr. Rocha is a committed mentor and advocate for scientific growth.
