Kim Huynh-Ba, M.S., PMP, FAAPS (she/her/hers)

Kim Huynh-Ba is the Managing Director of Pharmalytik Consulting LLC, specialized in GMPs, QMS, CMC, and stability sciences. She is an Adjunct Professor at Illinois Institure of Technology and Temple University teaching Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality Audit, GMPs, and ICH Quality. Kim is a member of the DEI Committee, ECC Committee and the Stability, CMC and Regulatory Science Communities. Kim also is a member of the USP Council of Experts (2015-2025), leading the Small Molecules 4 Expert Committee, member of the Expert Subcommittee on Combination Products. Kim is a member of the EAS Governing Board and their 2013 President.
Kim is a member of the AAPS Open Editorial Board. In 2024, Kim was appointed the Editor-in-Chief of KENX Insight, a peer review of GMP and Validation Journal. Kim has authored close to 50 publications and book chapters. She has presented over 200 presentations, both domestic and internationally. She edited three popular books: "Handbook of Stability Testing in Pharmaceutical Development", “Pharmaceutical Stability Testing to Support Global Markets", and "Analytical Testing for the Pharmaceutical GMP Laboratory". Kim was named Fellow at 2020 AAPS PharmSci 360 and EAS Distinguished Board Member in 2021.
