Jen currently leads the Global Bioanalytical Labs team at Novartis, spanning the pipeline from discovery through the clinic, for small, large, and complex modalities. Jen’s team is responsible for PK, PD, and IG deliverables, from strategy through execution. The team is currently building GCP capabilities in their Cambridge, US and Basel, Switzerland labs.
Jen began her bioanalytical career as an undergraduate student working at a CRO, and was immediately hooked. Over the past ~20 years of working in pharma, CRO and academic settings, she has witnessed a remarkable evolution in modalities, technologies, and health authority regulations, and embraces the challenges that they bring. Jen’s superpowers are building collaborative and agile teams, inspiring creative approaches, and instilling inclusive cultures where everyone succeeds.
Jen received her BS in Chemistry from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB Canada, then completed her graduate studies receiving a MS and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. Jen then completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the analytical chemistry department at Pfizer in Ann Arbor, MI.
