Hima Bindu Gottam, MS, MBA, RAC (US) (she/her/hers)

Bindu Gottam is Director of the Preformulation and Formulation Department at the University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals, a CDMO affiliated with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa. Bindu has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical product and process development, product enhancement, lifecycle management, scale-up, technology transfer, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance. Her extensive knowledge in pre-formulation and formulations, analytical, and regulatory areas has led to over 20 FDA approvals of several complex dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, oral solutions, suspensions, topical, transdermal, and sterile products. Before joining UI Pharmaceuticals, Bindu worked at three different pharmaceutical companies for about 11.5 years. She currently serves as the subject matter expert for all pre-formulation, formulation, and process-related activities at UI Pharmaceuticals, helping to bring molecules from bench to bedside.
Bindu earned her bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences from India and holds master's degree in chemistry, MBA from the University of Colorado Denver, and Regulatory Affairs Certification (US).
