Dr. Siddharth S. Kesharwani, MS, Ph.D., is a member of the Synthetic Molecules R&D team at AbbVie, where he plays a crucial role in supporting preclinical and clinical programs with his expertise in preformulation, drug product design, drug delivery, and biopharmaceutics for oral and emerging modalities, delivery platforms such as peptides and LAIs. Prior to his current position, Dr. Kesharwani contributed to the Early Development team at Sanofi in the Boston area, where he advanced projects from preclinical stages through Phase 2b. At Sanofi, he also led initiatives focused on building capabilities in biopharmaceutics, utilizing AI/ML applications for formulation screening, and employing molecular modeling for excipient screening.
Before joining Sanofi, Dr. Kesharwani served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Utah. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD, an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NIPER, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from HNGU, both in India. Dr. Kesharwani brings extensive cross-functional experience in biopharmaceutics and formulation development, ranging from early stages to preclinical and clinical development.
