Jaydip Vasoya, PhD, is an accomplished science professional with over six years of experience in advancing small molecule oral formulations from preclinical to commercial stages. He has a strong track record in managing early clinical development projects, coupled with a deep understanding of CRO/CDMO operations and business. His expertise includes comprehensive knowledge of preclinical and clinical CMC and GMP operations for oral solid formulations.
Currently, Dr. Vasoya is a Principal Scientist in Product Development, CMC at Schrodinger Inc., where he manages formulation development and clinical manufacturing activities. Previously, he led a group at Catalent Pharma Solutions focused on developing small molecule formulations from preclinical to clinical space. He also served as a Scientist in Formulations at Patheon by Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on liquid and semi-solid soft-gel formulations.
Dr. Vasoya earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from St. John's University, where his doctoral research focused on salt and form screening and selection, cocrystals, amorphous solid dispersions, and 3D-printed tablets. He is actively engaged in the scientific community through affiliations with organizations like the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and other professional organizations.
