Yanxing Wang is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of New Mexico State University. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Pennsylvania State University. Then he continued to work as a Postdoc Fellow at Penn State. After that, he worked as a Research Engineer at the School of Aerospace Engineering of Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2019, Dr. Wang joined the New Mexico State University as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Wang's research encompasses a wide spectrum of areas of fluid dynamics, including biofluid mechanics, microfluidics, aerodynamics, and aerospace propulsion. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Wang has made significant contributions to the field of drug delivery technology, particularly in developing innovative models for drug dissolution under complex flow conditions. His past research efforts have led to more than thirty publications in the prestigious journals, such as Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physics of Fluids, Physical Review E, and Journal of Computational Physics. Since 2021, Dr. Wang has served as an Associate Editor of Elsevier’s prestigious magazine Aerospace Science and Technology.
