Ariella Trotsenko is the Director of the New York City Innovation Hot Spot, a state-funded consortium of over 50 city, state, federally, and privately funded entrepreneurship support organizations. In her day-to-day role, she provides founders with micro-investments for prototyping, SBIR/STTR support, mentorship, and access to tax benefits, while also leading sourcing, deal flow, and due diligence efforts. She is a National Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Mentor and Instructor. She serves as a pro bono advisor to two biotech startups, advising on regulatory strategies and preparation of 510(k) submissions/FDA pre-submission documents. Ariella is the elected Chair of the Board of Directors for the Business Incubator Association of New York State (BIANYS). She is often called upon to serve as a reviewer for various funding proposals for the National Science Foundation TIP Directorate and Empire State Development (ESD), New York's principal economic development corporations. Outside of her day job, Ariella is the President of Shogun Industries, pioneering new data analysis methods. She is a proud graduate of the City University of New York (CUNY).
