Tony is currently a Principal Scientist working in Pharmaceutical Development at Genentech. His research interest spans from formulation development to advanced drug delivery technologies, including polymeric nanoparticles, microparticles, polymer-drug conjugates, and parenteral formulation for biologics. He has been working in pharmaceutical industry for over 7 years, with experience working across different modalities such as small molecules, peptides, proteins, and cell therapy. Prior to joining Genentech, he worked as an Associate Principal Scientist in Discovery Pharmaceutical Sciences at Merck, and completed his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds a BSc in Chemistry and a MPhil in Pharmaceutics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
