Lucía Lopez Vidal completed her PhD at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, where she also served as an Assistant Professor for four years, teaching at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Pharmacy, Queen’s University Belfast (Northern Ireland), working in the group of Dr Alejandro Paredes. Her research focuses on the development of innovative drug delivery systems, particularly the design and optimisation of drug nanocrystal formulations, the refinement of processes for their production, and their integration into various drug delivery platforms. Her work combines formulation science with practical, scalable strategies aimed at enhancing the translational potential of poorly water-soluble drugs.
