Mithunjha Anandakumar is a PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. She holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Under the mentorship of Dr. Fan Lam, her doctoral research focuses on developing computational methods for mass spectrometry imaging that enable high-resolution and high-fidelity biochemical maps of the brain at scale.
