Corey Bloom has been with Lonza/Bend Research for 22 years and he holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Colorado State University. Corey started his career as a Research Chemist in the R&D group developing nanoparticle based drug delivery technologies. Corey has held multiple positions in the Product Development group including Group Leader, Director of Formulation Science, Senior Manager of Early Stage Formulations, and his current position of Principle Investigator, Associate Director CMC. He has extensive expertise in formulation selection and development for bioavailability enhancement, process scale up, clinical manufacture, in vitro and in vivo performance evaluation, analytical method development, and managing client relationships.
