In 2021, he joined 10x Genomics as a field application scientist and is currently serving as the science and technology advisor for the Western region. In 2011, Dr. Josh Talboom earned his Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Arizona State University under the supervision of Dr. Heather Biomone-Nelson. His graduate research focused on the effects of age, sex, and hormonal influences on learning and memory. Following his doctoral studies, Josh conducted postdoctoral research concentrated on the multiomics of aging and neurodegenerative diseases. Throughout his academic career, he worked on numerous single-cell and spatial multiomic projects. Josh's expertise in single-cell methodologies encompasses everything from sample preparation to informatics data processing and statistical analysis.
