Jemima Sani is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Her research focuses on investigating novel calcium nanoparticles to enhance the efficacy of immunotherapy in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). In her work, she leverages human-relevant new approach methodologies (NAMs), including 3D patient-derived tumor organoids and humanized mouse models, to recapitulate tumor–immune interactions. Overall, her research aims to identify novel strategies to improve treatment outcomes for TNBC patients.
Jemima holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and is also pursuing a Master’s in International Biomedical Regulatory Sciences at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.
