Ligia Elena de Souza holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a master’s degree in Biological Sciences. She earned her doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in Germany, where she later continued as a postdoctoral researcher. Throughout her academic career, from her master’s studies to her postdoctoral work, she focused on the research, development, and characterization of drug delivery systems. She is currently the Business Manager for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors at Netzsch Analyzing & Testing.
