Brittany Heiser is a fourth-year PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin, where she focuses on delivering gene therapies to human lung cells via aerosolization. She holds a Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has published three peer-reviewed articles on the delivery of nucleic acids using lipid nanoparticles. She will be presenting her work on using excipients to stabilize lipid nanoparticles for aerosolized delivery of RNA.
