Fabiana Mastantuono is a rising senior in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida conducting research and her senior honors thesis in Dr. Mei He’s Lab. Her research focuses on EV isolation and characterization, biomaterial extraction, 3D bioprinting, and microfluidic devices. She has presented at the Nanomedicine and Drug Delivery Symposium, UF NanoDay, UF Biomaterials Day, and UF Health Cancer Center Research Symposium, where she received the Best Undergraduate Poster Award. Her recognitions include the University Scholars Program (UF CURBS/Cancer Center), Dean’s List, Fernandez Family Engineering Scholarship, Gerald and Elaine L. Gibson Engineering Scholarship, and Emerging Scholars Program. She aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in bioengineering.
