Dr Iain Oswald is a Reader (Associate Professor) at the University of Strathclyde. His research focusses on the impact of high pressure on pharmaceutical systems and follows the changes to the crystal structure as a function of pressure and relates to pharmaceutical processes of milling and tabletting. His other research interests are in co-crystallisation of pharmaceutical materials for the analysis of structure but also to focus on how the physicochemical properties are altered in these systems. His main research tools are diffraction (X-ray and Neutron) and Raman Spectroscopy.
