Marvin Adjei Larbi, BPharm, MSc, PhD Candidate is a doctoral researcher in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Molecular Medicine and Pharmacogenomics at Nova Southeastern University, Florida. His research focuses on the in vitro, in vivo, and structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies of novel anti-prostate cancer compounds, mentored by Dr. Dmitriy Minond.
Marvin holds a Master’s degree in Drug Discovery and Development from the University of Aberdeen, UK, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Ghana. He has held research assistant positions at Nova Southeastern University, University of Kentucky, and University of Aberdeen, contributing to projects in drug discovery, drug screening, pharmacokinetics, and biosynthesis.
He is a recipient of multiple travel grants and poster awards, including recognition at the Gordon Research Seminar and the American Chemical Society. Marvin has presented his work at various conferences, including the Translational Research Symposium and Gordon research conferences and has served as a reviewer as well.
In addition to his research, Marvin completed the Instructional Team And Learner Integrated Course Series (ITALICS), enhancing his expertise in teaching, mentorship, and curriculum design. He is a member of AAPS, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana.
