Serena Hacker, MScAC, is a senior machine learning researcher and engineer with the Sage Lab and Latner Thoracic Research Laboratories at University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Ontario, where she leads computational research developing data-driven and physics-based models of lungs on the ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP) system. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC) from the University of Toronto, with a concentration in machine learning for healthcare applications, and a Bachelor of Software Engineering with an Artificial Intelligence specialization from the University of Waterloo.
