I,Ms. Diksha Narula is currently doing a job in a Biopharmaceutical company. Pursued Masters of technology in pharmaceutical biotechnology from ICT, Mumbai. I have a keen interest in immunology, recombinant DNA technology and gene editing. During the programme, I worked on the research project "Development of a nanodiagnostic kit for Lung cancer". Learned all the basics of immunilogy and immunoassay that helped me completing the project. Did hands on- industrial training for 3 months in a venture known for developing diagnostic kits for various diseases. I'm GAT-B qualified, year 2023.
Completed my Bachelors of technology in Biotechnology from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab where during my student training internship programme, worked on project titled " Development of haploid inducer stock using CRISPR/CAS9 gene editing of OsMATL and OsDMP genes in rice. I have technical skills in biotechnology which includes operation of Agarose gel electrophoresis, PCR, SDS PAGE, Nanodrop and ELISA. Basics of cell culture, seeding, MTT Assay and pharmaceutical instruments like Spectrophotometer, Zetasizer, FTIR, TLC are known.
During my masters programme, I have written two book chapters for different books which are under review for publication. Also participated in curricular activities related to music and sports.
