Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, PhD is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery at the University of Mississippi, working in Prof. Mohammed Maniruzzaman’s laboratory. He earned his PhD in Pharmacology and brings broad expertise in target-specific drug discovery, spanning in silico and in vitro methods, drug-target identification, and protein–protein/protein–ligand docking. His current research centers on LYTAC (lysosome-targeting chimera)–mediated, tissue-specific drug delivery, aiming to expand the therapeutic reach of challenging targets. In parallel, he develops 3D-bioprinted hydrogels to support organoid growth, bridging advanced biomaterials with translational pharmacology. Driven by precision medicine, Dr. Al Mamun integrates computational design with experimental validation to accelerate the path from molecular insight to patient-ready therapies.
