Honglan obtained her Ph.D. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2025. She was awarded the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme by the University Grants Committee in 2022 to support her doctoral program. Her research primarily explores diverse drug delivery systems and combination strategies for enhanced antitumoral or antimicrobial treatments. Her doctoral dissertation project focuses on the pulmonary delivery of synergistic depolymerase-antibiotic combinations to combat multidrug-resistant bacterial infections.
