Hesham is a PhD candidate at the University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy. His research focuses on biologic drug development encompassing a wide range of physicochemical and functional characterizations of biologic drug products in both solid and liquid states. Hesham has specific training in monoclonal antibody and antibody drug conjugate formulations and biosimilar drug product development. His work also includes stability testing of monoclonal antibody formulations under various stress conditions. Hesham is a pharmacist by training. In addition, he held positions in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in sterile drug product manufacturing.
