Vivek Agrahari, PhD (he/him/his)

Dr. Vivek Agrahari is a Senior Scientist at CONRAD, where he leads product development activities. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has over 10 years of experience in drug delivery research. His work includes bio-responsive and controlled-release nanoformulations, long-acting injectables and implants, topical inserts, and transdermal patches. His work also focuses on integrating AI/ML and modeling-based approaches in pharmaceutical product development and characterization. His contributions include 50+ peer-reviewed publications, numerous conference presentations, and editorial articles. His innovations in product development led to three U.S. patent applications and the clinical testing of an on-demand topical insert platform for HIV prevention. An active member of AAPS since 2010, Dr. Agrahari has held various leadership roles. He currently serves as Chair of the Modified Release Community, Vice-Chair of the Editorial Content Committee, and was part of the 2025 NBC Scientific Programming Committee. His previous leadership roles include serving as Chair of the Nanotechnology Community and as a member of the Award Committee.
